That’s a good question, Jacky! I really love movies, and I especially love movies that I can watch over and over. The movie that I’ve watched the most so far is probably You’ve Got Mail…it was released about 15 years ago, and it stars Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I love it because it is a romantic comedy all about books and writing…and those are my favorite things!

Well my favorite movie is fast track its about people having a race in Mexico,but they are racing legaly there’s cameras all over the race track but all cars crash people jump out of the cars. its really good you should wach it some time.

What movie did you see, Brittany? I do like scary movies, but not all the time. They are good around Halloween! The rest of the time, I think I prefer comedies.

Gotcha…OK, well we can talk more about it in school tomorrow, but for now why don’t you check the “rules of dialogue” document I sent you. See if you can compare your dialogue to the examples. The big things to remember are that each time a new person speaks you need to begin a new paragraph, and also that the actual words spoken are set off from the tag by a comma like: “See you tomorrow, Danny,” Ms. Morris said with a smile as she signed off the computer.”
