Hi everyone!  Happy 2013!

Here is the link to the post with the Infinite Campus information.  Remember, you need to have your own Infinite Campus account (and be able to log in to it) by Friday, January 11th.

Here is the link to the preposition lesson that is due on Tuesday, January 8th, and here is the link to the entire Parts of Speech website.  (Remember that links to the grammar lessons are also available through Infinite Campus, and you can Google search “Morris Parts of Speech” to find the site as well.)

See you tomorrow for our team day activities!

~Ms. Morris

Were we supposed to write our Lit Essay Draft in our Writer’s Notebook or in our Reader’s Notebook.

The essay goes in the WN. The reading/movie responses go in the RN.

Ms. Morris:
I just asked them (the school district) to create my account, but instead they created an account for my dad. I don’t know if that is acceptable or not! What do I do, because if I email them again, they might not understand?

I think you need your parent’s account first…did you find the handouts on the district site? We’ll check in tomorrow and see if I can help you get to the next step in creating the account. Hang in there!

I haven’t gotten the WW7 packet yet. Are you giving them out on Monday?

Julia, packets for anyone who signed up for one are in the green “take back” bin in the front of the room. If you signed up for one, but don’t see your packet in the bin, let me know and I will get another one for you.

Hi Mrs. Morris!

I had a question about the Freak the Mighty responses. It says I can make a t chart, Venn diagram, write long, or bullet my ideas – is that for the response or only for planning?

I don’t know if my previous comment registered or not but I had a question about our Freak the Mighty response. Is the Venn Diagram, T-Chart, Write Long, or Bullet Ideas for the whole response, or just the planning?

Thank You!!!

Advaith, those were options for note-taking or the prewrite. The responses to the questions should be written in paragraph form in you RN.

Where's The Comment Form?
